Steiner time in France

Our friends from Tremont, Kevin and Kristy Steiner, live in France, near Grenoble.  They are there with Caterpillar, and we have been wanting to visit them in their beautiful part of the world, so we left in the middle of August and drove there.  They have three boys, similar in age to our kids, so the kids had a great time together, and we adults enjoyed catching up, talking and laughing!  They live in the mountains, in their part of the Alps there in eastern France, so we took some time to hike.  Ed's birthday was during our time there with them, so he was able to celebrate by running off the edge of a mountain, hooked to a parachute!  It was the most adventurous birthday Ed has had in a long time!  He will probably want to make this a tradition, and go "parapenting" every 35 years!

We loved our time with the Steiners!  They are incredibly gracious hosts.  We ate so well there with them...real French-style cooking...delicious!!!  Thanks, Kevin and Kristy and boys for the great time we had with you, and for showing us all around your beautiful town and surroundings!

You're welcome, thanks for coming! You were the perfect guests, and we loved having you here! Thankful that you were willing and able to make the long drive west to visit us here in beautiful France. It was so fun to share our lives here with friends from Tremont!
I want to be there when Ed goes parapenting for his 70th ;)
